We are searching for a **Vendor and Accounts Payable Analyst** to join our Finance Team based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

**About the Opportunity**
- Builds and utilizes financial analysis tools to manage and report on accounts payable, vendors, payments, and purchase order processes
- Monitor payment reporting for exceptions and provide corrective actions to ensure completeness and accuracy of payments
- Monthly vendor account reconciliations for key corporate vendors
- Corporate credit card reconciliations and Expense report processing
- Process, review and management of purchase orders. Including identification and closure of purchase orders that re fulfilled, or cancelled
- Process and review aged/past due Purchase Order reporting and liaise with operations to determine actions required to complete, update or close related purchase orders.
- Reports monthly on the status of purchase orders, invoice processing and expense and credit card reporting.
- Supports a month end reporting by delivering complete vendor account reconciliations, and ensuring purchase orders and invoices are processed accurately and on time.
**About You**
In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or finance, or College certificate in business administration or finance paired with 5 or more years of experience in a finance or payables role.
- Minimum 2-5 years experience working in an accounting or finance role
- Experience with accounts payable considered an asset
- Proficiency in understanding accounting and financial reporting
- A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
