**ABOUT THE JOB**:
The Network department (HCS) provides network and network security services and expertise to all main network environments (routing, switching, firewalls,). The Network experts in Canada are working to maintain a good level of services on highly critical environments in AMER, Europe and Asia, and accompany business partners on their needs.

As our department is growing, we are looking for team players, invested people who are interested in bringing new ideas and perspectives. You will be part of a team of 20 engineers focusing on network and security administration.

**WHAT WILL BE YOUR DAY-TO-DAY?**

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Providing level 2/3 operations support

oMonitoring during business hours

oDaily morning check reports communication

oOperational process & documentation improvement

oParticipate on on-call non-business hours
- Incident management

oDetection and communication during business hours

oManage Level 2/3 Operations Incidents and Problems
- Request management

oPrioritize Daily requests & delivery
- Change management

oChange delivery during non-business hours, including week-end

oChange configurations peer review with Level 3
- You will be working in an Agile environment (Scrum)

**Profile**

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Must Have**:

- 5+ years of experience in network security and/or security operations
- Good working knowledge of:
oFirewall Operations such as Fortinet, Checkpoint & Cisco ASA Firewalls

oGood working knowledge of Internet services and protocols

oWeb Proxy or similar

oRemote and Site to Site VPN technology

oLoad balancers like NetScaler and F5

oGeneral understanding of the network security standards
- Strong knowledge of ITIL - IT Infrastructure management best practices
- Strong operational skill with capacity to prioritize multiple requests or incidents
- Adaptability: you are able to adjust to new environments, work effectively in varied situations and function in changing circumstances.
- Willing to participate on on-calls schedule which include overnights and weekends based on team’s needs (approx. once a month).
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, DEC or equivalent technical Certifications

**Nice to Have**:
Good working knowledge of:

- Network Security Automation and DevOps experience is a definite plus
- Unix system management
- Cisco Switching/Routing technologies (BGP, OSPF, VPC, traffic engineering, etc.)
- Management tools : Firewall management, Monitoring Tool and Splunk

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per year
