Solar Technician

_**Overview**:_
- **Key Responsibilities**_

**System Installation**:

- Install rooftop and ground-mounted racking systems with precision and safety.
- Mount solar panels according to plans and layout drawings.
- Assist with wire runs, conduit placement, and basic DC/AC wiring.

**Roof & Site Work**:

- Safely navigate and work on various roof types using fall protection.
- Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free job sites at all times.
- Load/unload materials and prepare job site daily.

**Electrical Support**:

- Assist electricians in pulling wires, making terminations, and setting up inverters.
- Support ESA inspection preparation and system commissioning as needed.

**Documentation & Quality Control**:

- Complete install checklists and photo documentation for each project.
- Communicate any deviations, issues, or material shortages to the project manager.
- Ensure installations meet OESC, ESA, and manufacturer standards.

**Teamwork & Safety**:

- Participate in daily safety talks and follow all fall protection and ladder protocols.
- Work collaboratively with the solar crew to meet deadlines and production goals.
- Follow instructions from Crew Lead and Project Manager while maintaining high standards of work.
- **Qualifications**:_
- 1+ years of experience in solar, construction, or roofing preferred
- Comfortable with heights and using ladders, harnesses, and hand tools
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Valid working-at-heights certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of solar equipment and electrical basics is a plus

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
