SOS provides more than 20 local programs and services to all ages, including programs that meet basic needs and promote healthy living and social connections.
**The SOS Program Coordinator**coordinatesthe day-to-day operations of community-based programs for adults and seniors. You will provide coverage and back-up support for the other SOS client service programs and reception. You will work as front-line staff performing client intakes, assessments, referrals, and advocacy. You will provide program support and program administration support to the Administration & Client Services Manager.

**Qualifications & Skills**:
- Completion of post-secondary training in a related field supplemented by a minimum of two years previous experience in a similar role, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong administrative skills, knowledge, and experience in office procedures.
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills, including Excel, Outlook, SharePoint/OneDrive, and Access.
- Ability to work both independently, and in a team in a fast-paced, busy, dynamic environment, shifting priorities as required.
- Ability to perform the physical demands of the position.
- Experience working with volunteers and clients in the social services sector, including handling challenging interpersonal situations, preferred.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and own, insured vehicle.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
