Reunion Coffee Roasters is currently seeking an analytical, collaborative, and focused **Materials Coordinator** who will ensure that packaging and raw materials inventory levels are sufficient to meet production schedules. In this position, you will collect and analyze data on open orders, production levels, and sales forecasts to estimate future demand for raw materials. Collaborating with our Production, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Quality departments, you will think critically and create/leverage reporting tools to assist in actively managing both on-hand and vendor-managed inventories accordingly. On a practical level, you will:

- Maintain on-site inventory of materials to support demand planning and production schedules;
- Coordinate and schedule deliveries of materials from vendors;
- Issue purchase orders and transfers from vendors and/or third party storage;
- Perform purchasing tasks for plant supplies including PPE and other expenses items;
- Review material movements and make recommendations for stock/par levels;
- Monitor material inventories to ensure adequate coverage and safety stock requirements are met;
- Oversee the vendor process when materials are no longer usable due to defects or damage;
- Communicate with vendors regarding any defects or flaws that may need to be addressed prior to use in manufacturing;
- Minimize obsolete stock and avoid financial impact to the operations;
- Proactively liaise with sales and marketing to manage customer specific materials along the item life cycle;
- Create and distribute weekly reports that address vendor lead times, material velocity, and highlight risks in the fulfillment forecast;
- Collect and analyze production batch report data to prepare production KPI reports;
If you have the following qualifications, we want to hear from you:

- College and/or University degree, preference for experience with Supply Chain, Operations, and Data Modeling
- 1+ years of experience as a Materials Coordinator, preference in food manufacturing industry
- High competency in Microsoft Excel - data omdeling/manipulation, charts, etc.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong computer skills, ability to learn in-house software quickly
