**About us**

Splendid Homes Corp. is a Luxury Custom Home Builder and Designer located in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual for the role of project coordinator who has extensive knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction and very strong work ethics. Our entire team is detail oriented and motivated to deliver highest quality work in the residential and commercial construction sectors.

Reporting to the Construction Management Department Head, you will be responsible for the coordination of a wide range of development and construction projects. You will support the project managers in securing and managing resources in line with project goals.

You will engage closely with our clients, suppliers, trades, authorities having jurisdiction and other stakeholders to ensure all planning and development projects are approved and all construction activities are executed to according to the schedule, budget and quality expectations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supporting project managers and controllers in coordinating and managing project procurement, schedules, budgets and quality control.
- Creating schedules, tracking project progress and identifying potential issues, risks or delays.
- Preparing and presenting project status reports to management and other stakeholders.
- Being directly involved in the procurement process, including issuing RFP's, evaluating quotations, issuing purchase orders and maintaining performance history of trades and suppliers.
- Acting as development liaison and working directly with City of Winnipeg planners and zoning officers in order for submitting zoning development proposal and receiving approvals.
- Coordinating with project managers to schedule and request City of Winnipeg inspections. Respond to Inspectors' comments.
- Preparing and submitting development and building permits and tracking progress of submitted requests.

Qualifications:

- University or college degree in engineering, architecture or project management or equivalent combination of education and direct work experience related to project management.
- Minimum **two (2)** years of progressive work experience in construction project coordination or project management and knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Minimum of **two (2)** years traceable work history in Canada.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and multi-tasking.
- Experienced in working with project management software like BuildTools, SmartSheets, etc.
- Excellent English-speaking skills and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills to work on multiple tasks or support multiple projects simultaneously.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
