Your responsibilities include: - Install and troubleshoot sprinkler systems, removing old systems and updating equipment. - Accurately track parts and maintain record for each job before, during, and after to confirm parts used. - Set and maintain times on computer and electronic valve clocks, troubleshooting computerized electronic systems, irrigation controllers, solenoid valves, and heads of all types. - Operate machines and trenchers for installing/repairing lines. - Assist in coordination with other departments or outside contractors. - Read diagrams and blueprints, locating, and laying out irrigation valves, timers, and wiring. - Test completed irrigation systems for proper functioning of valves, timers, and coverage. - Locate, excavate, and repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning equipment. - Restocking of the van to ensure a supply of necessary parts and equipment. **What you Bring** - _**Experience**:_ 1 + years of expertise in landscape irrigation installation, maintenance, repair, or plumbing. - _**Certification**:_ Possess a Level 1 and/or 2 IABC certification and a valid BC driver’s license. - _**Communication Skills**:_ Demonstrate exceptional written and spoken communication skills. - _**Proactive Approach**:_ Be a proactive and organized worker, managing your time to meet deadlines with limited supervision. - _**Industry Familiarity**:_ Be familiar with current irrigation parts and basic systems. - _**Adaptability**:_ Willingly adapt to company standards, work closely with Management, and take direction. **What we Provide** - **Comprehensive Training**: Receive all necessary training for learning best practices and safety protocols in tool handling, maintenance, and troubleshooting. - **Education Access**:Enjoy the convenience of accessing our online education platform to expand your knowledge base at your own pace.
