**Job Overview**
We are seeking dedicated and experienced individuals to join our Board of Directors. As a Board Member, you will play a crucial role in guiding the organization towards achieving its mission and strategic goals. We are seeking individuals with expertise in finance, governance and/or our local health and social community. Board Members are expected to contribute their expertise and insights to enhance the overall effectiveness of the board.
- Supports the mission, vision, and values of the agency
- Knowledge of not-for-profit governance board structure
- Knowledge of local health care and/or social service challenges
- Appreciation for working collaboratively in a team environment
- Understand the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion and will help the board reflect the community it serves

**Responsibilities**
- Volunteer position with a 2-year commitment
- Regular attendance at Board Meetings - minimum of 9 per year
- Attend the Annual Meeting of Members

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months
