**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Retrieves next job from fabricating wall board or polisher bin in order of install date.
- Checks schedule when necessary to ensure priority of work.
- Fully reads and understands all paperwork and scope of work prior to starting a job and goes through any uncertainties with shop foreman.
- Provides quality control over edge profile, surface of stone and quality of polish.
- Checks material associated with job understanding different material require special pads or tools and techniques for polishing.
- Checks paperwork for special surface texture (i.e., leathering, honing, satin) or special edge profile prior to starting a job.
- Ensures proper techniques of moving stone, understanding different stone requires different methods.
- Checks measurements to ensure proper quality prior to starting job and reports any discrepancies to shop foreman.
- Inspects all surfaces and edges for chips, fissures, cracks, and polishing defects prior to moving job to back of shop for Quality control.
- Ensures all items on Work Order are completed prior to completing the job (i.e., backsplash, notches, EOP’s and receptacle holes).
- Upon completion of job, immediately hands in Work Order to slot by fabrication room.
- Immediately reports_**any**_ breakage or mistakes of any kind to shop foreman.
- Keeps work area clean.
- Punches in/out daily.
- Ensures a clean work area and cleans up before shift is over.
- Ensures sign-off on production paperwork once all pieces have been polished for the job.
- Abides by the Company’s style guide
- Fill out daily inspection for crane if first one to use - must check to ensure it is complete.
- Follows company safety procedures and wears appropriate PPE.

**Qualifications**
- Knowledge of the construction industry would be a very strong asset.
- Ability to learn and retain information, multi-task and work under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs +.
- Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License
