**Job Summary**

In addition, you will be expected to be reliable and punctual. This position requires honesty, compassion, vigilance, quick thinking and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations as well as a strong focus on thorough communication, record keeping and cleaning duties.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Thorough cleaning of the facility
- Let boarders out for a late night and morning potty break
- Complete add-on boarding services as needed (evening walk,
- Prompt and thorough cleaning of waste
- Clean and maintain suites, keeping them free of waste, fur/hair, and other unsanitary or hazardous materials
- Supervise dogs throughout the night
- Keep records of health, feeding, behaviour, medication administration, walking or other services completed for each dog as needed
- Willingness to study and learn canine behavior and body language
- Thorough and complete communication of any necessary notes of tasks completed or information through written notes for following shift, and completing necessary notes in client files as needed
- Preparing breakfast and feeding dogs in AM before morning shift begins
- Setting up play rooms for morning shift

Requirements and Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Prior experience at dog daycare, shelter or other similar experience an asset
- Familiarity with various dog breeds
- Passion for taking care of animals
- Teamwork and strong communication skills
- Physical stamina for cleaning and maintaining suites and cleanliness of facility
- Ability to handle breeds of all sizes and energy levels
- Patience and ability to remain calm
- Understanding of force free and positive reinforcement techniques
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Self motivated and can work well and diligently on your own

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Night shift
- Weekend availability
