**Sahara Rehab Consulting LTD.** is currently looking to hire a part-time Rehabilitation Assistant (RA) to help support our existing OTs in their interventions with community-based rehabilitation clients. Applicants with qualifications as an Occupational Therapy assistant or experience working under the direction of an OT are encouraged to apply.

We are a community-based mobile rehabilitation company that was established in 2010 and services the Metro Vancouver and Fraser Valley Areas. We are currently expanding and growing to meet the needs of individuals with various medical conditions and disabilities, including brain injuries, soft tissue & orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, and mental health issues. Rehabilitation services are provided to clients in their homes, community centers, and/or their respective workplace.

**Qualifications, Skills & Requirements**
- A minimum of one year’s work experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or in the community.
- Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. (foreign-trained OTs awaiting certification are welcome to apply).
- Good English communication and report writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiasm for clients with complex challenges.
- A valid BC Driver's License with ICBC insurance for business use.
- Applicants must have their own care or access to a vehicle for business use.
- Applications must have Professional Liability insurance of 5 million as Support worker.
