If you are passionate about commercial insurance and share the ambition to revolutionize the commercial insurance space, we are currently on the lookout for talented Property & Casualty (P&C) Underwriters who share our appetite for underwriting reality and excellence.

In this role as Mid Market Commercial Underwriter, you will help brokers by being responsive and engaged, working towards finding competitive solutions for their accounts, while refining & expanding your underwriting skills in progressive environment.

**Main responsibilities**
- Underwrite and service New Business & Renewals in accordance with our underwriting and contract guidelines; or as a wholesaler
- Build and develop business relationships with existing and new brokers through professional service and marketing visits
- Collaborate with colleagues on current and future opportunities
- Represent the company at industry events as required
- Stay current with market intelligence and commercial insurance trends

**Profile**
- 3+ years of Commercial Underwriting experience
- Experience at a MGA, an asset
- Knowledge of Guidewire, an asset
- Confidence and ability to analyze and make decisions
- Adaptability and flexibility in the face of change
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Exceptional customer service
- Sense of responsibility
