**TRAINING INTERNSHIP in the Design, Graphics and/or Video Filming & Editing Industry for Canadian College/University Students**

General Purpose: Preparation of materials and completion of specific projects, while ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. The intern will learn best practices in marketing delivery and implementation, communication skills and basic management tactics from experienced staff.

Responsibilities and tasks may include:

- Filming content and/or utilizing stock video footage
- Editing video footage, enhancing with animations or other post-production methodologies, to be utilized on websites, social media, blogs, etc.
- Assisting in the preparation of other visual materials, as required
- Planning and organizing projects; project management
- Providing recommendations on other visual enhancements
- Designing website page enhancements (offline); if skilled in wordpress or HTML, making the changes online
- Preparing visually-appealing powerpoint presentations and/or infographics
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of reports and information decks, in visually-appealing ways, to create consumer interest in white papers or reports

**REQUIREMENTS**
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Currently enrolled in a College or University program
- Interest in a design, graphics, filming or video editing role
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Docs, and a basic computer knowledge
- Strong communication (verbal and written)

**Job Type**: Internship / Co-op

**Salary**: $17.50 per hour
