Lighthouse Immersive Studios creates, produces and distributes innovative digital immersive art experiences through its experiential multiplex digital art galleries, aiming to cultivate community and creativity through large-scale events and exhibitions of all art forms. Lighthouse Immersive has produced the world premieres of Immersive Van Gogh, Immersive Monet & The Impressionists, Immersive Frida Kahlo, Immersive King Tut and Immersive Klimt: Revolution in 23 North American cities, including Toronto, New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Las Vegas, Boston and Denver, and is currently expanding into additional markets. To date, they have sold over 6 million tickets to Immersive Van Gogh across North America, with Artnet calling it “one of the largest coordinated art phenomena of all time.”
As the Director of Marketing at Lighthouse Immersive Studios, you will be responsible for leading and executing strategic marketing initiatives to promote our exciting exhibitions, increase awareness, and drive revenue growth. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing marketing strategies across various channels to engage our target audience and enhance our position in the entertainment industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business objectives, including brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Lead and inspire a team of in-house, freelance, and agency marketing and communication professionals; including hiring, training, workloads, schedules, and deadlines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ticketing and sales, production, and special projects, to align marketing efforts with overall company goals and initiatives.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape, and leverage insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Oversee the creation and production of marketing collateral, including advertising materials, promotional assets, and digital content, to support marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Utilize data-driven approaches and analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and optimize marketing efforts for maximum ROI.
- Develop and manage marketing budgets across all IPs and operations within a multi-company structure, allocate resources effectively, and monitor expenditures to ensure cost efficiency and alignment with business goals.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media partners, influencers, and industry contacts, to enhance brand visibility and drive strategic partnerships.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing and entertainment to continuously innovate and improve marketing strategies and tactics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in marketing leadership roles, preferably in the art and entertainment industry or related field.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
- Strong leadership skills with experience leading and managing a team of marketing professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools, CRM systems, and digital marketing platforms.
- Creative thinker with a passion for art and entertainment, with a keen eye for design and storytelling.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes and ROI.
