As a member of our small but supportive People & Culture team, we often wear many hats, so this is an exciting opportunity for a recent HR program graduate who is looking to advance their talent attraction skills while also gaining exposure to other HR disciplines.

**PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Develop and publish impactful job postings and evaluate their success through the use of talent metrics and recommends recruitment strategies based on metrics.
- Advise Managers on talent attraction practices and work collaboratively to develop job-specific recruitment strategies that align with our broader workforce plan
- Develop and lead initiatives to advance inclusive and diverse talent recruitment practices including training hiring managers
- Establish position selection criteria and develop and source assessment and selection tools and methods and confers with managers to determine the best selection processes
- Advise hiring managers and employees on recruitment policies, procedures and opportunities for career advancement.
- Utilize Applicant Tracking System (ATS), for all recruitment activity and review effectiveness and promote continuous improvement with system utilization and associated processes
- Promote and guide Beacon’s employer brand through participation in career fairs, associations, sponsorships and maintaining working relationships with representatives from educational and community organizations.
- Collaborate with the communications team to develop social media recruitment activities by joining/interacting with local community and jobs pages/groups to promote open positions and foster engagement and referrals
- Work collaboratively with the People & Culture Team to ensure a seamless recruiting and onboarding experience and effective employee data management processes and systems
- Participate in a variety of employee engagement and retention initiatives as well as other HR projects and processes

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Certificate, diploma or degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related discipline
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:

- Knowledge of full cycle recruitment coupled with understanding of the broader labour market and trends
- People-centric with a passion for establishing genuine connections and committed to maintaining an inclusive, positive workplace
- Excellent communicator with highly-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization
- Exceptional writing skills with a focus on marketing and engaging diverse audiences
- Advanced organizational, time management and administrative skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent computer knowledge and skills, including the use of MS Office 365 and Excel
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload effectively
- Demonstrated success in meeting deadlines
- Skilled at working independently and enjoys collaborating with others to build on ideas and improve processes
- Self-motivated drive with a proven ability to adapt quickly to evolving priorities and find creative solutions to challenges
- Strong attention to detail and data and ability to utilize data to support decision-making
