**Some of what you will do**:
As the 302 Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for first-line management and overall performance of your department. You will be responsible for preparing and planning strategies to meet the department’s daily, weekly, and monthly goals. You will work in close collaboration with the senior management team to ensure operational excellence and the facility’s all-around success. You will need to flex your schedule based on business needs. This position has keyholder responsibilities, including opening and closing the fulfillment centre.

**Specifically, you will**:

- Assist with development and achievement of the signage department goals and objectives, including productivity, accuracy and inventory integrity.
- Lead the team through ongoing feedback and coaching, ensuring associates are productive, motivated and engaged.
- Responsible for execution (orders, PO’s, etc.) in OP’s department in the absence of the OP’s supervisor
- Read, understand and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports; use these reports to evaluate department’s performance and find and act on improvement opportunities
- Develop and execute daily and weekly action plans to meet department and overall warehouse performance expectations
- Understand and use binning system technology where appropriate, and maintain control of department procedures, inventory and replenishment.
- Coordinate all inbound and outbound deliveries for the various business units at 302 including executing on the plan for all outbound logistics to various third parties.
- Execute on all cross dock inbound and outbound shipments
- Coordinate with FC centers on all on-line returns that are re-directed to the 302 Warehouse, execute on all returns and monitor and make all corresponding units available for inbound transfer.
- Aid all other business units by planning and scheduling additional support - as needed. It is the supervisor's responsibility to create the optimal allocation of labour.
- Manage and distribute all Staples branded promotional assets including but not limited to trade show booths, tents, or any other branded item. Develop and maintain a system for tracking all inbound and outbound assets so their location is always known. Inform home office if any assets need to be replaced due to damage.
- Understand all safety procedures; ensure safe work practices are followed and maintain a safe work environment
- Ensure that the Warehouse is always kept clean and organized.
- Follow company procedures regarding security of store keys, locks, and secured doors and security of all facility product.
- Responsible for the security of the receiving area.

**Some of what you need**:

- 1-3 years of supervisory experience
- 3-4 years of shipping receiving experience in a warehouse or retail store environment and any previous warehouse inventory management experience would be an asset.
- Post-Secondary degree in applicable field or related work experience
- Experience and working knowledge of warehouse systems, processes and productivity standards (WMS / AS400 / TMS / OMS, computerized systems, and related ability to recognize, articulate and address variances or issues in the processes)
- Computation/mathematical ability and reading comprehension of technical/financial materials and reports
- Initiative to work with mínimal instruction and direction
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Positive associate relations skills; ability to direct, coach, support, and delegate and maintain morale
- Experience handling high volume of inventory is an asset
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct analysis on inventory reports as required.
