Markham, Canada 8th Avenue Food and Provision Full time

**Fulltime General Labourers needed for peanut butter manufacturing facility**:

- Afternoon (2 pm to 10 pm)
- Nights (10 pm to 6 am)

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Responsible for loading peanut butter cases onto pallets
- Responsible for ensuring the correct labels are on the pallet for shipping
- Responsible for the start up, and shut down of the machine
- Responsible for monitoring finished peanut butter jars conveyor as they go to be packed on trays
- Responsible for operating filling machine, cappers, coders, sealers, and tray packing machines
- Responsible for checking/monitoring seals and recording lot codes
- Removing damaged or improper jars and all abnormalities
- Responsible for referring to SOPs
- Responsible for checking formulas according to the production schedule
- Responsible for weighing ingredients
- Responsible for dumping ingredients into hoppers
- Responsible for notifying supervisor and material handler when running low on ingredients to switch pallets
- Responsible for frequently performing quality checks
- Responsible for ensuring all production documentation is completed and recorded
- Responsible for aiding in sanitation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $15.25 per hour
