**AMSTED DESIGN-BUILD** is seeking a junior marketing professional to join our team. Be part of an award-winning team, as we craft homes that bring dreams to life

**What you will do (aka Role and Responsibilities)**

As part of our marketing team, your role will include external and internal company marketing initiatives. You will work with the Marketing Manager to maintain the marketing plan, calendar and budget, in order to achieve lead generation that satisfies the needs of the company sales volume.

A typical day in marketing at Amsted may include,
- supporting the planning and execution of staff, client and partner events,
- creating or coordinating marketing materials,
- updating the company website,
- supporting MailChimp campaigns and digital marketing efforts,
- creating and/or overseeing communication from the company, including staff and client newsletters and press releases,
- liaising with local media outlets to provide regular content and suggest ideas,
- interaction with clients for satisfaction surveys, reviews and photography,
- supporting internal departments in ongoing marketing initiatives,
- building company culture (includes some typical HR functions, including recruitment and selection, onboarding, events).

This is a dynamic position which requires managing multiple activities at a time in a busy environment. You will be required to demonstrate creativity and analytical abilities, flexibility and resolve, and attention to detail and adaptability.

**What you bring to the role (aka Skills and Qualifications)**:

- University degree, diploma or similar credentials in Business, Marketing, Communications or related
- 3+ years of experience in a marketing role, preferably with relevant experience in the variety of responsibilities noted above
- Effective tactical marketing skills
- Experience or interest in HR functionality considered an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to proofread and edit marketing copy and business documents
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, multitask and prioritize workload
- Digitally savvy
- Self-directed with an eagerness to excel
- Calm under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- Incredible customer service
- Detail oriented
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher) and WordPress. Experience with MailChimp, Canva, Adobe InDesign considered an asset.

We strive to provide a work environment that is enjoyable and achieves a balance between work and personal time. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, however, your schedule will require flexibility for evenings and weekends based on the event calendar.
