**Responsibilities**
- Records transactions into QuickBooks and Microsoft Business Central
- Enter, post and reconcile batches
- Prepare bank deposits
- Billing/invoicing
- Prepare aging reports
- Reconcile bank accounts, recording and balancing financial information in a variety of ledgers
- Carry out general accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures
- Handle payments and compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with guidelines
- Respond to requests for information from vendors and various other stakeholders
- Verify the correctness of documents and codes
- Receives incoming mail, sorts, and distributes along with responsible for outgoing mail
- Reconciles receivable statements and other vendor statements processing and recording of credit card transactions in system
- Various other clerical, administrative duties and projects as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Post Secondary Diploma required, preferable in Finance or Accounting
- One year of experience in Accounts Receivable
- Accounting knowledge and experience with Receivable and Payable Sub/ Ledgers
- Experience reconciling accounts
- Intermediate level competency in Microsoft Office Word/Excel/Outlook
- Knowledge of QuickBooks
- Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central
- Knowledge of unions an asset

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
