As a Methods Technician working in the Alternative Projects Centre of Expertise (APEX) team at Pomerleau Construction, you will play an integral role in coordinating construction methods. Supporting our large-scale building and infrastructure projects - ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion - you will ensure complaince, support design and development methods, while providing key technical support and insight during the proposal and estimating phases.

**What you will do**

Participate, with the Methods coordinators and in collaboration with the construction team, in defining the general methods to be deployed on site;
Produce site logistics and installation plans;Produce phasing plans: use cycles for temporary structures, definition of teams and equipment, and other method plans;Participate in drawing up specifications for temporary structures;Produce detailed operating plans;Ensure the quality of the documents produced and compliance with the deliverables production schedule;Maintain constant communication and collaboration with other team members;
-Perform other tasks related to modeling and drawing production.

**This role could be for you if you have**
- A college diploma in civil engineering or equivalent experience combined with relevant training;
- Experience in design and/or construction (temporary structures, engineering structures or other civil engineering structures);
- Experience in non-standard structures using different types of materials is an asset;
- A very good command of Autocad software;
- Mastery of Civil 3D, Revit and/or Tekla is an asset;
- Good technical knowledge;
- An interest in new technologies and a desire to learn;
- You are rigorous, with a concern for accuracy, precision and compliance with standards and norms.
