Brantford, Canada Mott Manufacturing Ltd Full time

This is a permanent full-time day shift position. You must have flexibility to work on the afternoon shift and on the weekends for where support is needed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (or the “Act”) and the regulations; use or wear the equipment, protective devices or clothing required to be used or worn; report to the Supervisor the absence or defect in any equipment or protective device of which the worker is aware and which may endanger themselves or another worker; and report to the Supervisor any contravention of the Act or the regulations or the existence of any hazard of which the worker is aware
- Manages and directs labour in the Shipping and Receiving Department
- Ensures on-time shipping performance, works closely with employees and delivery drivers to ensure receipts and shipments meet standards.
- Responsible for managing all material transfers to production
- Responsible for inventory accuracy and cycle counting process
- Assists planning team with managing inventory levels
- Prepares shipping documents (BOL, Packing List’s, and Customs Invoices) using internal MRP system
- Provides leadership and training to new and existing employees
- Maintains excellent working relationships with internal departments, external customers & suppliers
- Updates team on daily issues
- Performs additional duties as needed

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Leadership role
- Must have a valid forklift operator license from a recognized training provider
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Strong communication, organization, problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
