What can I expect to do in this role?

**Reporting to the Program Administrator, you will**:

- Prepare and issue confirmation of registration letters and certificates of professional standing
- Summarize documents related to a member's professional history including past / present complaints, investigations or proceedings in Ontario for the purposes of licensure in another jurisdiction and/or for hospital privileges
- Assist with yearly renewals of various registration processes
- Maintain files, databases, and records related to department programs
- Update and maintain department-related process documents
- Contribute to department initiatives by attending and contributing to team meetings and projects
- Identify problems, understand the underlying cause of the issue, propose solutions and participate (or implement) appropriate resolutions
- Other duties as assigned

What skills and background do I need?

**The Registration Representative requires**:

- Completion of a two
- to three-year community college program
- Two to four years of applicable/relevant experience
- Excellent written/oral communication skills with a strong command of the English language and strong organization skills
- Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking abilities
- Well-developed time management, problem-solving and workload prioritization skills
- Ability to interpret, explain and administer complex legislated requirements and by-laws
- Customer service expertise, including strong interpersonal skills, a high level of diplomacy, patience, and tact
- Thorough knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, and Adobe Acrobat
- Rely on best practices, data, research and/or evidence to make informed decisions
- Demonstrated natural curiosity to ask questions, review research, look at the data and/or find evidence
- Experience with case management and document management systems is an asset
- RCDSO is building its bilingual (French/English) capacity and French language proficiency is a significant asset

Compensation and Total Rewards
- Base annual hiring salary from $49,675.20 to $55,884.90, commensurate with experience
