Bad Habit Tattoo Co. is an established and thriving tattoo and piercing studio in Edmonton, Alberta, known for high-quality body art and a welcoming, creative atmosphere. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated **Shop Manager** to lead our dynamic team and oversee daily operations.

**About the Role**

As Shop Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the shop, while ensuring a smooth and professional environment for artists, piercers, support staff, and clients. You’ll play a key role in creating and maintaining a strong culture of creativity and respect while ensuring the highest standard of customer service. We are looking for someone who will treat the shop as their own and who will take the success of the shop very seriously.

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee and coordinate daily studio operations
- Help build business through industry networking, shop representation, and building relationships
- Manage client scheduling and ensure a smooth customer experience
- Supervise front desk and support staff
- Offer leadership and guidance to piercers and tattoo artists
- Support artists and piercers with admin and operational needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional shop environment
- Handle inventory management and supply ordering
- Manage conflict resolution and team communication
- Track and report on sales and performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with Alberta Health Services regulations
- Assist with event coordination and promotions
- Hiring new team members including artists and support workers
- Bringing in guest artists

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a management or supervisory role
- Experience in a service-based or creative industry (tattoo/piercing shop experience is a strong asset)
- Very strong communication and leadership skills, along with conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Professionalism and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using scheduling, POS, and basic office software
- Passion for the tattoo and body modification culture

**Schedule & Compensation**
- **Schedule**: Full-time, must be available on weekends and evenings
- **Wage**: Competitive hourly wage based on experience, **bonuses based on shop success and performance**:

Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

Additional pay:
