Position Overview:
Join the Finning Canada family We are currently seeking a Service Operations Support Advisor. Reporting to the Service Technology Lead, this position focuses on service technologies enabling administration and service execution of Finning’s service organization structure. This position will have responsibility for a specific Service Operations Service Technology portfolio along with the ability to identify and deliver areas of opportunity to improve business and technology processes that add value across the organization.

As the Service Operations Support Advisor, you will support and monitor related technologies to create, review and communicate best practices and Key Performance Indicators in line with the Finning (Canada) service model; and identify, develop, and deliver accurate reference material to support all applicable users in service and parts operation.

**Job Description**:

- User acceptance testing for accuracy and usability, providing feedback to project or development team
- Deliver and execute user documentation and training material(s) adhering to the standard operating procedures
- Remain current on system functionality, modifications and upgrades
- Developing, maintaining, and fostering collaborative relationships across the organization
- Responsible for assigned service technologies portfolio (e.g. Service Request Tool, Cat Inspect, STaR, etc.)
- Collaboratively work with stakeholders across multiple internal departments to build and/or improve the technology solutions to enable Service transformation
- Address incoming requests for Tier 3 (Advanced) technical assistance
- Develop, communicate and maintain best practices as a point of reference for facilities driving towards Service Excellence
- Utilizing various tools, data and processes, identify opportunities for the use of alternative options that improve efficiency and/or effectiveness to the operations
- Accountable to communicate and monitor business and technology systems changes
- Develop, manage, modify and maintain materials related to Service Technologies portfolio (including Standard Operation Procedures and Job Aids) for users
- Organize and deliver coaching sessions to improve employee knowledge and performance across technologies.
- Support end user training utilizing available tools such as E-learning, Peer-to-Peer learning or On-Demand and One-on-One sessions.

Qualifications and Experience:

- 3-5 years of related experience
- Post-Secondary education in a related discipline would be an asset
- Experience in adult learning, education, development and facilitation
- Knowledge of change management principles
- Highly experienced with Service Technologies
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Ability to think outside of the box and offer creative solutions
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and lead using influence to achieve results
- Communicate with all levels in the organization
