**POSITION OVERVIEW**

Reporting to the business development manager, the Traffic Labourer is a vital member of the operations team and plays a pivotal role in both the warehouse and on traffic sites. The person in this position will be flexible and willing to perform varied tasks and help where operational demands are required.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Handle transactions of incoming and outgoing flow of products from the warehouse
- Participate in inventory counts as needed
- Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse, yard and other areas of the department
- Deliver, set up, and take down and maintain traffic control devices
- Safely load and secure products and trailered equipment for transportation
- Safely operate company vehicles out to job sites
- Perform vehicle inspections, field level hazard assessments, and applicable safety paperwork
- Aid in developing traffic plans and pre-plan traffic control sites
- Prompt loading and unloading of the truck to ensure timely delivery
- Provide exceptional service to in-person customers
- Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment
- Complete other duties as required

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Ability to load and unload shipments weighing up to 50 lbs
- Preferably, shipping, receiving, and forklift experience
- Preferably, experience within the traffic industry and moving trailered message boards
- Valid driver’s license and clean abstract
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail

**HOURS OF WORK**:
The typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm although must be willing to work varied shifts as traffic projects are required.
