About You

We are looking for a Social Media and Content Coordinator with 0 to 3 years of experience in building mixed media content across various platforms and channels to help increase brand awareness and overall lead conversion within a highly competitive landscape.

About The Role

Join our growing marketing team with a range of exceptional experience across demand, design, UI/UX, automation and social who hits well above our weight. As our Social Media and Content Coordinator, you will directly contribute to Foxquilt’s brand positioning through mixed channel media in a customer-centric way. This position will lead social media initiatives, create campaigns, and assist in developing Foxquilt’s brand.

Location: Greater Toronto Area (hybrid work environment preferred, fully remote optional)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Manage Foxquilt’s social media presence from end-to-end, including creating content (both imagery and copy), posting week-over-week, creating and managing a content calendar across all platforms, and analyzing the success of social media efforts
- Monitor channel performance through social channel analytics, providing recommendations and implementing them to enhance community and brand engagement
- Leverage data, consistently evaluate the user experience both online and offline, identifying and solving for pain points in various customer journeys, with a particular emphasis on optimizing for segments
- Exceptional copywriting skills, for long and short form content across inbound and outbound channels
- An eye for detail & design, creative video production/editing and content development
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product and Tech teams for opportunities for enhancement
- Other social media and marketing duties as assigned

What you’ll need to get the job done:

- Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrated experience in developing social media content, primarily video creation, ad sets, media engagement and so on
- An in-depth knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube, both as a user of the platforms as well as from the side of a business manager
- Perform A/B testing with the intent of improving impression share, campaign quality, and conversion
- Experience in graphic design for content creation and thorough working knowledge of Adobe Suite
- Experience with customer awareness and consideration journeys, social reporting and experiential campaign engagement
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to influence key stakeholders
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple competing initiatives

How will we know you’re the *perfect* fit?
- Experience in video media creation and distribution
- Experience in website management and communications
- Prior work with company branding, either in creation or expansion of the company brand across all platforms
- Passion and/or demonstrated experience in Financial/Insurance services industries
- Ability to switch between D2C and B2B marketing creation and efforts
- Ability to leverage trends in Fintech and Insurtech stakeholder management landscape, while assessing competitors in the space and conceptualizing/building new campaigns accordingly
- The ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders, product development, technology and marketing team members
