Big Head Wines is thrilled to announce our partnership with General Assembly to present an outdoor wood-burning pizza experience.

General Assembly Pizza opened in 2017 on a mission to bring better pizza to the people. Our pies are all made from 100% naturally leavened dough and are topped with thoughtfully sourced premium all-natural ingredients.

**Position: Patio Server**

Joining the General Assembly kitchen team entails a standard work week of 5 shifts, each lasting 8 hours, from Wednesday through Monday. This position is situated in an outdoor setup at our brand-new facility in scenic Niagara-on-the-Lake. Please note that a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are necessary as we are located in a rural area, off transit lines.

The Patio Server position is a full-time, seasonal role responsible for providing exceptional service to guests visiting the winery's pizza patio with General Assembly. This individual will work closely with the back-of-house team to ensure a fun, hospitable, and efficient service environment.

**Greeting and Seating Guests**

**Taking Orders**: Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring guests' preferences and dietary requirements are noted

**Serving Food and Drinks**

**Providing Friendly and Attentive Customer Service**

**Processing Payments**: Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately and securely using the POS system.

**Maintaining Cleanliness**: Keep the patio area clean and tidy, clearing tables, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of waste.

**Restocking Supplies**: Monitor inventory levels of pizza ingredients, beverages, and serving supplies, restocking as needed to ensure uninterrupted service.

**Assisting with Food Preparation**: Assist kitchen staff with tasks such as slicing pizza, and preparing garnishes.

**Collaborating with Team Members**: Work closely with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.

**Following Safety Procedures**: Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling of food, cleaning procedures, and sanitation practices.

**Hours of Work**:
Primarily 10:30 am - 6:30 pm

**Weekend availability is required**

**Availability into October is required**
