We are seeking an Operations Manager for our primary pavement maintenance crew. As the Operations Manager, you will oversee and help perform a wide variety of projects for various clients across the city.

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
**WHAT YOU’LL DO**
- Oversee and assist with the production of Day/Night weekend work.
- Use equipment to perform line painting, asphalt crack filling and seal coating, power washing, concrete work, epoxy flooring, and more
- Keep the crew on track and working safely, effectively and efficiently
- Plan and facilitate the production of a high-quality project
- Communicate job status daily with the General Manager
- Maintain a safe, hazard-free job site
- Plan and schedule projects
- Schedule staff
- Assist with management of inventory and equipment
- Communicate with clients regarding their projects, and ensure client satisfaction
- Assist and manage subcontractor relationships, including scheduling, quality control, reporting and adherence to EverLine policies and procedures
- In conjunction with General Manager, review scopes of work to ensure that all information has been provided for crews to execute the work successfully
- Coordinate and communicate with sales to achieve clear scope information
- In conjunction with the General Manager, review operations reports following work being completed and follow up with clients and staff as appropriate
- Where deficiencies are noted, determine responsibility and execute appropriate action
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in operations
- Conduct site visits with clients, as necessary
- Sit as a member on the Joint Health and Safety Committee
- Supervise, coach and mentor staff
- Additional tasks as required

**Qualifications**
**WHAT YOU BRING**
- A G Class driver’s license with a clean driving record (Driver’s Abstract is required) and a reliable mode of transportation
- You are a self-motivated, critical thinker that likes to problem solve
- You understand the importance of punctuality, organization, and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role with lots of walking, bending, and lifting (up to 75lbs)
- Ability to work well independently unsupervised
- Experience with small engines (like lawnmowers) and/or paint sprayers is an asset
- An Engineering educational background is an asset
- Experience working with operations and scheduling software
