Chick-fil-a Hospitality Team Lead

**Objective**: Chick-fil-A Tanger Outlets Ottawa is currently hiring multiple team members for the daily restaurant operations of the newest and first Chick-fil-A in Ottawa. **Restaurant Vision** To have a positive influence on everyone we come in contact with in the city of Ottawa. **Role Vision** As a Chick-fil-A Tanger Outlets Ottawa Team Lead, you will be responsible for modelling and acting in accordance with Chick-fil-A's operating standards, vision, mission, core values and culture. **Responsibilities** - Assist with recruiting, hiring and retaining talent as needed - Assist with scheduling of team members as required - Possess or be willing to develop an understanding of inventory management - Be a champion for the restaurant's food safety and quality goals - Achieve operational excellence during every shift - Possess the ability to lead by example and influence a diverse operational team of at least fifteen (15) people at a time - Possess the ability to proactively prepare for shifts, delegate and prioritize attending to issues arising during shifts - Assist with training, scheduling, orienting, monitoring, coaching and providing feedback to team members - Learn, comply with and enforce all Chick-fil-A operating and training standards - Ensure all restaurant policies are followed during shifts (e.g. attendance & punctuality policies, waste policies, meal and break policies, food safety policies etc.) - Highly hospitable with a desire to always elevate the guest experience - Perform additional job duties assigned by senior management to support business needs **Required Skills & Qualifications** - Must be legally permitted to work in Canada - Must possess a calm but authoritative demeanour - Must possess the ability to handle a highly demanding and fast-paced restaurant - Must possess the ability to provide clear and concise communication - Must possess strong personal characteristics; primarily humility, and a willingness to collaborate and learn - Must have 1-3 years of leadership experience (hospitality experience preferred) and/or a Bachelor’s degree/College diploma - Must possess the ability to use and train on various technologies including iPads and POS systems - Must be very comfortable handling Canadian money with a high level of integrity - Must possess or pursue a have food handlers’ certificate before resuming position **Working Conditions** - Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs - Must be able to work outside and stand for prolonged periods of time - Must be available to work Mondays - Saturdays **Benefits** - Sundays off - Health and dental insurance after a period of time - Employee meal discounts - On-the-job training - Personal and professional development opportunities - Scholarship opportunities up to $25,000 per year - Flexible Scheduling **Company Information** Chick-fil-A is in the business of serving our guests great food and remarkable service.
