**Must Haves**:

- Own vehicle and valid Ontario driver’s license
- Own tools and PPE
- Must own a smart phone with a data plan (Time Clock and Daily Logs will all be input from your phone through the Buildertrend App)
- Ability to read, understand, and explain Architectural Drawings and relay details accordingly

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ Year Framing Experience in High-End Residential Renovation/Custom Home Building field
- 3+ years Trim/Finish Carpentry experience
- Proven ability to work within deadlines and budgets
- Strong Time Management and Self-Management skills
- Strong working knowledge of job site safety and building codes
- High standard of integrity, satisfaction, and professionalism
- Excellent People skills; sub-trades, suppliers, clients, neighbors and SevernWoods staff
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and scaffolding
- Pay rate dependent on Experience & Skill Level

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with the Lead Carpenter on all carpentry; including framing, trim carpentry, window & door installation and steel/wood beam installation
- Complete all work with a high level of productivity
- Understand time allocations and work within the Project Schedule
- Anticipate problems/issues and work with Lead Carpenter to come up with solutions
- Use Buildertrend to create PO’s, keep an eye on the Budget and Schedule
- Use Buildertrend to upload pictures and daily logs when necessary
- Daily communication with the Lead Carpenter or PM to schedule work accordingly
- Learn/Maintain a thoughtful approach to sustainability and energy efficiency
- Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others, organizing tools and materials and keep site clean
- Aid the Lead Carpenter with quality control of sub-trades and suppliers on site

**Salary**: $28.00-$37.00 per hour
