**Liaison Coordinator**:
**Primary Purpose**: You will provide support in planning and strategizing the communications and programs of the BIG project.

**Nature of Work**: You will have to report to Project Leaders from time to time and organize and initiate the meetings virtually or in person. The ultimate decisions will be made by the project leads.

**Typical Duties or Accountabilities**:

- To create and coordinate an ongoing plan of engagement with Indigenous communities in and around WBNP regarding the BIG project
- To schedule community engagements (virtual and in-person meetings) and facilitate local logistics and arrangements for the meetings
- To facilitate communication with and among local communities to garner written support for the 4 Activities of the BIG project
- To facilitate local logistics and arrangements for BIG research trips to bison herds in and around WBNP
- To provide timely follow-up and updates to Project Leads and Communities to “keep the ball rolling”

**Education**: Either a diploma or certification in communications or strategic planning experience will be preferred.

**Experience**: At least 1 year of experience required in a particular field.
