Gaertner Baron Professional Corporation is a corporate and commercial litigation boutique located in downtown Toronto. Our mandate is simple - to provide expert litigation representation to our corporate and individual clients.
We are seeking a litigation associate with 3 + years of civil and commercial litigation experience to join our busy and collegial litigation team.
The position offers the opportunity for hands-on experience at all stages of litigation, as well as file carriage and direct client contact. This is a hybrid position.
We are looking are looking for an associate who meets the following criteria:
- Must be in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- 3+ years of post call civil or commercial litigation experience
- Courtroom experience is require
- Has excellent writing skills
- Has ability to research complex legal issues, prepare legal memoranda, draft facta and other motion and/or trial related materials
- Has ability to provide strategic legal advice to clients and assume carriage of client files
