**JOB DESCRIPTION**

As a subsidiary of IT Group, Injet Tech Plasitcs was formed to provide molding solutions and assembly services to the medical, automotive, and consumer industries. Our 61,000 scquare foot facility allows us to offer our customer base an expanded range of Injection molding equipment, along with new automation equipment.

We are currently looking for a **Human Resources Generalist** to join our team in Kitchener, Ontario.

Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Generalist will support the HR function in Kitchener by actively overseeing day to day HR activities to ensure alignment with business and organizational goals. The position will have a strong focus on recruitment/staffing and labour allocation, attendance, leave management, workplace health & safety, employee ralations, and traininand development.

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Recruitment**:

- Support full cycle recruitment and onboarding for the Kitchener facility
- Ensure the proper labour allocations based on business demands, updating organizational charts as required

**Employee Relations**:

- Provide counsel regarding company policies and procedures as well as related legislation
- Address employee conflicts and complete investigations as required
- Assist with progressive descipline process
- Actively work to identify, analyze, and emprove on employee engagement and retention
- Build a positive culture and rapport with staff

**Helath and Safety**:

- Act as a representative for the JHSC, ensuring monthly inspections and meetings are being upheld
- Actively support workplace health and safety initiatives
- Manage all WSIB claims, return to work and modified duties and incident investigations

**Training and Development and other Duties**:

- Coordinate all third party training (i.e. forklift, LOTO)
- Administration of tracking HR Metrics including safety, labour allocation, attendance
- Must be flexible to support all shifts (expected to work 40 - 45 hours per week)
- Provide backup for Payroll functions
- Create and ensure all policies and procedures are in compliance with current legislation

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 2-5 years Human resources experience in amanufacturing enviornment (automotive or plastics preferred)
- Strong communication with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to shift priorities bassed on the current situation
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
- Exccellent computer skills
- Previous payroll experience preferred
- CHRP or workign toward CHRP preferred
