**Your Key Responsibilities**
- Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort locate and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment
- Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of shipment
- Daily use of Computer Hardware and ADP Software (data entry, document management, label making, order processing systems, and electronic mail)
- Pack, seal, and label materials to prepare for shipping
- Perform tasks in multi-temperature environments
- Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and/or standards and complete appropriate documentation as required.
- Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route parts and scheduled deliveries
- Record shipment data for reporting, accounting, and record keeping purposes
- Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials
- Rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and non-conformance to specifications
- Maintains a clean and organized shipping and receiving area
- Deliver materials to other departments and the appropriate personnel.
- Assist other areas of department with duties or task as assigned and seen necessary by manager or supervisor.

**Your Capabilities and Credentials**
- Must have knowledge of health and safe procedures, standards and regulations.
- Possess excellent customer and personal service.
- Have a full understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems, transportation and delivery scheduling principles.
- Pay attention to detail, accuracy, and have the understanding to rectify packing slip discrepancies
- Possess integrity, cooperation, self-control, and stress tolerance.
- Have concern/respect for other co-workers within the department and throughout the dealership.
- Be adaptability/flexibility, have initiative, and be a creative problem solver.
- Have the ability to work independently for the most part yet assist other co-workers in a timely professional manner.
- Discuss and coordinate tasks with coworkers
- Communicate/ exchange information with co-workers, customers and carriers
- Address the issue of damaged goods, shortages, improperly packed goods and document all such discrepancies on the carrier’s bill of lading with the drivers and shippers signature.
- Have the ability to unload/load goods without damage.
- Make adjustments for frequent interruptions and changing priorities caused by rush orders, or shipping delays.
- Liaison with coworkers is needed to co-ordinate the movement of parts in and out of the department to ensure proper levels of service to the Service, Body shop and Wholesale customer base.
