FLINT is seeking a Plant Operator with 3+ years of experience working in oil and gas facilities.

You will be working at our client site in Peace River, AB on _**

**_ 7-day _**
**_on _**
**_& 7-day_**
**_ off shift._**
**_ This position is expected to start in mid-June and it is expected continue on for up to a year. _**
**_There is no _**
**_LOA_**
**_ offered for this opportunity._**
**What would you be doing?**
- Monitor and control plant and field processing conditions utilizing SCADA control systems.
- Maintain superior housekeeping standards throughout the plant process and control room areas.
- Responsible for minor maintenance and the coordination of other maintenance activities.
- Understands and performs safety responsibilities such as hazard identification, equipment lock-out, emergency response, follow safe work procedures.
- Assist in providing a safe work environment for Maintenance and maintaining surface equipment.
- Work and communicate directly with other operators.

- Extensive knowledge of all facets of Operations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Third or Fourth Power Engineering certifcation.
- Valid safety tickets: H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Fall Protection, WHMIS, Confined Space
- Rescue, Common Safety Orientation (CSO).
- Able to provide a clean Drivers Abstract.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
- Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
