Morning Opener

**Job Posting: Barista - FOH Operations, Guest Experience & Catering Support**

**About the Role**:
We’re looking for dedicated and detail-oriented baristas with prior barista experience who take pride in creating exceptional guest experiences. As a barista, you'll be responsible for opening the Front of House (FOH) to ensure seamless customer service. You’ll also assist with fulfilling catering orders as part of your morning responsibilities when required.

Your focus will be on delivering quality, cleanliness, and hospitality in all FOH areas, including Service Stations, Customer Areas, and catering preparation.

**Shift Details**:

- Regular Shift: 3 hours, from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM, Monday to Friday.
- Flexibility:The opportunity to pick up additional shifts when coverage is needed.

**Requirements**:

- Barista Experience Required:Applicants must have prior barista experience, including knowledge of espresso machines and café operations.
- Specialty Drink Expertise: Applicants must have experience making specialty drinks using an espresso machine.
- ProServe Certification Required:Applicants must have or be willing to obtain ProServe certification.
- Age Requirement: Applicants must be 18 years or older to meet licensing regulations for handling liquor.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences**:_
- Provide warm, welcoming service and maintain FOH areas to ensure a positive experience for every guest.
- **Clean and Organize the FOH**:_
- Collect used café dishes from both FOH and BOH areas.
- Sort dishes into the Sanitizing Station’s Main and Breakable Baths.
- Put dishes away after sanitization is completed by the Foodista.
- **Opening Responsibilities**:_
- Turn On Equipment: Ensure all FOH equipment is ready for use.
- Conduct a Walkthrough: Verify FOH and customer areas are clean and ready for guests.
- Set Up Stations and Stands: Prepare the Sanitizing Stations, Food & Drink Services, and FOH Stations (Panini, Espresso, Payment, Liquor & Retail, Condiment).
- Prepare Customer Areas: Organize and stock areas to create a welcoming environment.
- Stock Displays: Ensure food and drinks in Cold Food and Bakery displays are fresh, organized, and ready for service.
- Bakery Display: Bake and arrange baked goods for display.
- Food Display: Stock prepped items from the back cooler into the display.
- **Assist with Catering Orders (When Required)**:_
- Prepare and organize catering orders as part of your morning routine.
- Ensure catering items are packed accurately and ready for timely delivery or pickup.
