**AE & BD Professional** As an Account Executive and Business Development team member your efforts are divided equally in both rolls. **A. Account Executive (AE) Summary**: With the mentorship of the General Manager you liaise with our top accounts to ensure a thriving relationship is maintained. Your efforts result in developments of technology and client reporting to enhance and improve the relationship. In conjunction with Travelpath’s president and accounting department you maintain and develop client contracts and agreements. **B. Business Development (BD) Summary**: You will manage sales of Travelpath’s products and services within Canada and the One Global Travel organization. You ensure consistent profitable growth in revenues through positive planning. You identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short - and long-term sales and earnings. A. Account Executive Details: As “AE” you develop a close business relationship with our top accounts’ key personnel to deliver an exceptional experience for their travellers. This carries the following responsibilities: - Analyze client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their objectives - Contract renegotiation; - Management of preferred vendor relationships; - Client traveller surveys; - Client quarterly and/or yearly reviews; - Liaise as needed with our One Global Community partners. B. Business Development Details: The title of "BD" carries the following responsibilities: - Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and prospecting; - Seek out, identify and sell group and incentive business; - Answer RFP’s and do presentations when shortlisted; - Collect travel program details from potential clients and relay to implementation team once contract awarded; - Produce timelines in partnership with the implementation team for new business that you obtain; - Accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams; - Using tools and content available, prepare marketing materials and presentation aids to assist in closing potential accounts; - Maintain a systematic form of follow-up using Travelpath’s tools; - Schedule a bi-weekly meeting to present a status report consisting of your new and potential accounts status in the sales cycle; - Prepare and report your weekly plan in writing each week; - Maintain a commanding knowledge of One Global Travel’s and Travelpath's technology and corporate sales tools; - Attend online or in person sales meetings/conferences as required. C. Personal Development - Continually update product knowledge and skills, specifically on latest air fares, rail travel, car hire, corporate rate programs; - Attend trade (product) seminars as they become available; - Participate, as required, in educational travel; - Regularly read trade magazines and travel sections of major newspapers; - Attend ticketing and reservations systems training conducted inside and outside the company; - Initiate self-education in areas of weakness. D.
