Journeyman Plumber Gasfitter

We are looking for a Journeyman Plumber/Gasfitter B to join our team. Vegreville Plumbing & Heating Ltd. is an established and respected business in Vegreville (100KM East of Edmonton). We offer a great environment to work and practice the trade. You will be exposed to all areas of the industry including service and new construction for residential, commercial, and industrial.

Duties are to work with our Apprentice Plumbers and other Journeymen to:

- locate and mark the positions for connections and fixtures
- cut holes through walls and floors to accommodate pipes
- measure, cut, thread, bend, clamp, solvent cement, or solder pipe
- assemble and install valves and fittings
- Join pipe sections and secure them in position
- test pipe systems for leaks
- install underground storm, sanitary and water piping system
- install fixtures and HVAC equipment
- Service and maintain HVAC systems
- On Call Schedule
