**Receptionist / Administrative Assistant**
**VIH Aerospace (VIHA)**, a global leader in Helicopter Manufacturing, Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MMRO) is looking to expand our team by hiring a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant.
**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**:
This is a full-time position based at the VIH Aerospace facility in Sidney, BC, Canada.
**_ Relocation services are not included in this opportunity._**
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Act as first point of contact for clients, visitors and employees.
- Welcome visitors and direct to specific destinations.
- Maintain visitor sign-in log.
- Maintain the overall appearance of the reception area, creating a welcoming environment.
- Manage conference room and guest office scheduling and logistics.
- Coordinate meetings and events including facility staff coordination, and supplies.
- Answer main phone lines, route calls to the appropriate destination.
- Provide administrative support to various teams including Maintenance, Business Development, Sales and Marketing.
- Coordinate travel and expense management.
- Ad hoc projects as necessary.
**REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS**:
- High school diploma and associated Administrative Assistant credentials.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Minimum of one (1) year of administrative support experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point, specific databases and systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to exercise judgment in handling confidential/sensitive information.
- Excellent organizational/time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
- Task-oriented with a high sense of urgency.
