**Company Description**

The Company is growing its management team to build the new operating businesses. One of the initial core roles required at Ether Capital is a Controller who will report to the CFO.

The initial responsibilities of the Controller will be to build an accounting system and a treasury management system, together with the CFO. These projects will involve designing the internal controls, drafting written standard operating procedures, implementing new accounting software, and building new banking procedures.

Throughout, the Controller will have responsibility for accounting, financial statements, management reports, banking, audit management, regulatory filing, budgeting, and special projects. It is a very diverse and exciting set of responsibilities in a public company.

**Detailed Responsibilities**:

- Develop, document and implement effective internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial information
- Responsible for financial reporting, tax compliance, reconciliations, AR, AP, payroll, expense reimbursements, and all other accounting functions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements to ensure complete and timely distribution to internal and external users.
- Manage cash for effective operation of the Company
- Undertake daily banking functions
- Support the timely and accurate completion of annual operating forecasts, KPI’s and capital budgets.
- Provide advice on the accounting implications for any prospective new operating business.

**Required Skills**:

- CPA designation with a Big 4 accounting firm preferably
- At least 5 years of previous work experience as a financial controller, in public practice or in similar capacity
- Experience with different accounting software packages
- Experience with banking and the internal controls required
- Budgeting experience
- Audit management experience
- Drafting of standard operating procedures
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
- Good knowledge of IFRS
- Experienced in preparation of financial statements and supporting working papers documentation
- Detail and deadline oriented
- Willing to deliver under pressure and work with tight deadlines
- Understanding of digital assets and crypto industry would be an asset

**Compensation**

The new Controller needs to be a good listener, accept guidance, and be prepared to pivot constantly. The executive team at Ether Capital has a vision to build the business, but knows the importance of altering tactics in the event of developments (opportunities and threats) within the industry.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $120,000.00-$135,000.00 per year
