As the world shifts to renewable energy, the intermittent nature of wind and solar must be addressed. The answer? Large-scale, long-duration, and robust energy storage. That’s where Invinity comes in. We make flow batteries that store energy in a liquid electrolyte containing vanadium. Invinity’s vanadium flow batteries are highly advanced versions of this proven technology.
Invinity Energy Systems, a public company trading on the London Stock Exchange with primary operations in Vancouver, Canada is deploying large-scale flow battery systems around the world. The value in our battery systems rests in our expertise in flow battery design, electrochemistry, and, increasingly, software. Software is at the core of what we do. It is embedded within the electronics components in our battery modules, coordinates large arrays of modules to work in concert, engages with other energy infrastructure equipment, allows monitoring and management of complete battery projects, and even supports trading on energy markets.
