As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented **Bookkeeper & Accounting Coordinator** to manage and maintain accurate financial records and contribute to our ongoing financial operations.

The Bookkeeper & Accounting Coordinator will be responsible for full-cycle bookkeeping and financial reporting, ensuring all accounting processes align with Canadian corporate standards. This role is perfect for a self-starter who thrives in a structured, organized environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Bookkeeping & Finance**
- Maintain accurate and current financial records using QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including issuing invoices and monitoring collections.
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor statements monthly.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking for operational departments.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Support the preparation of year-end financial statements and coordinate with external accountants and auditors.
- Ensure compliance with CRA regulations, including HST/GST filings and payroll remittances.
- Assist in payroll processing and recordkeeping.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum 2 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience, preferably in a corporate or SME setting.
- **Software Proficiency**: QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a must).
- **Regulatory Knowledge**: Familiarity with Canadian accounting and tax regulations.
- **Detail-Oriented**: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- **Communication**: Clear and professional verbal and written communication.
