The Lethbridge Community Out-of-School Association, IT'S A BLAST Program aims to be the premiere out-of-school care program in Lethbridge and is looking for qualified, caring, and reliable Childhood Educators to join our program.

It's A BLAST's Summer Program runs from July - August, and provides out-of-school care for children ages 6 through 12. As a Summer Program Leader, you will create a fun, exciting, and enjoyable experience for the children in our programs. Activities will include swimming, indoor and outdoor active play, off-site field trips, arts and crafts, and more

Program Leaders at It’s a BLAST are responsible for providing daily programming for all children registered in the program. It is the responsibility of Relief Program Leaders to deliver quality care at our multiple programs when our permanent staff is sick or on vacation. It's A Blast is currently hiring reliable relief staff to support our new and existing programs.

What we need from you:

- Positive, can-do attitude towards work.
- Reliable and flexible availability, working minimum 1 shift per calendar month.
- Personal vehicle to get to and from shifts.
- Ability to develop positive and respectful interactions with children, parents, and staff.
- First Aid Certification within the first 8 weeks of employment.
- Clear Criminal Record Check within 8 weeks of employment.
- Clear Intervention Check within 8 weeks of employment.
- Current Child Care Education Level (or willingness to complete Basecorp).

Preferred Qualifications:

- Child Care Education Level 2 or 3

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $20.39-$26.62 per hour
