What is a community school?

It is a designated school facility that is open beyond the traditional school schedule to offer a variety of community learning and recreational opportunities to people of all ages. Community schools are multi-service facilities working in partnership with other community agencies, organizations and individuals to improve the quality of life in the community. Our Community school will be running classes out of schools in the Abbotsford are such as but not limited to, Abbotsford Middle School, Eugene Reimer Middle School, Dormick Park Elementary, Alexander Elementary School, Matsqui Elementary, Ross Elementary, and Godson Elementary.

To enrich the lives of the people in our community by offering a wide range of cultural, recreational, and educational programs and opportunities.

We are currently hiring for an after school program instructor and an evening instructor. **We specifically need someone to work on Tuesdays**.

Applicants will be required to complete a Criminal Record Check. Current First Aid is an asset. Compensation is based on experience and programs that are being led. Compensation for successful applicants range from $19 - $20 per hour for this program depending on their experience and skill set.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 4-10 per week

Pay: $19.00 per hour
