We manufacture ocean sensing solutions - sensors, instrumentation, and deployment systems - for business and government customers on all seven continents. As a hi-tech business, our technical team includes experts and engineers with experience in the acoustic, mechanical, electrical, software, and embedded software domains. We operate from locations at either end of Canada: Halifax (Dartmouth), Nova Scotia on the Atlantic Coast and Victoria (Sidney), British Columbia on the Pacific Coast.

**Functional Accountabilities**:

- Forecast and manage inventory valuation with an eye to increase inventory turns
- Ensure accuracy of inventory - value and quantity
- Forecast parts requirements in regular consultation with Sales, Order Management, and Manufacturing teams
- Predict parts gaps - quantity or quality - before they impact AML manufacturing operations
- Eliminate sales orders where customer delivery date is affected by material shorts
- Eliminate vendor non-conformance with AML quality expectations
- Negotiate off-balance sheet (consignment) supply agreements with vendors
- Build and maintain a team of A players; Ensure team member growth
- Back Up: Provides support to other Supply Chain functions, as needed

**Experience**:

- Purchasing: 1 year (preferred)
- supply chain management: 1 year (preferred)
