**The Opportunity**
We’re hiring a Senior HR Manager to own talent acquisition, people operations, and culture across a multi-shift food manufacturing and logistics environment. You’ll lead and partner with Operations, and build the systems that help us attract, develop, and retain great people.
**What You’ll Do**:
- Build and lead a high-performing HR function (recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance, compliance).
- Own full-cycle talent acquisition for hourly and salaried roles; develop pipelines and employer brand.
- Level-up core HR processes: job architecture, policies, handbooks, performance and feedback cycles.
- Coach leaders on people matters (attendance, investigations, progressive discipline, accommodations).
- Drive safety and compliance in partnership with Operations (OHSA, JHSC, training, WSIB, RTW).
- Lead HR analytics and workforce planning (headcount, turnover, hiring velocity, engagement data).
- Partner with leadership on org design, change management, and culture/recognition initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Ontario ESA, Ontario Human Rights Code, AODA, OHSA; support audits.
- Oversee payroll/benefits inputs with Finance; optimize HRIS and documentation.
- Champion inclusion, fairness, and a values-driven workplace.
**What You Bring**:
- 6-10+ years progressive HR experience, including 2-4 years managing/leading a team.
- Experience in food production, manufacturing, logistics, or other 24/7/shift-based environments.
- Deep working knowledge of Ontario ESA, OHSA, Ontario Human Rights Code, AODA; WSIB/RTW.
- Strong recruiting chops for high-volume hourly roles and skilled salaried positions.
- Confident with investigations, conflict resolution, and coaching leaders at all levels.
- Data-driven, systems-minded; comfortable with HRIS and building simple dashboards.
- CHRP/CHRL preferred (or in progress).
- Clear, empathetic communicator who builds trust and gets things done.
**Nice to have**:
- Food safety or GMP environment experience.
- JHSC Certification (or willing to obtain).
- Experience supporting multi-language workforces.

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
