Term: 8 weeks
Work Schedule: Days

Location: Home-based and ADAPT Oakville office

As an HR Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting our HR team during the implementation of BambooHR. This temporary position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HRIS implementation and general HR operations within a collaborative environment.

**TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist with data entry, data cleansing, and uploads of employee information into BambooHR.
- Support the HR team in configuring BambooHR features to align with ADAPT needs.
- Collaborate with the HR team to test system functionalities and troubleshoot issues.
- Provide administrative support for HR-related tasks, such as preparing reports, scheduling meetings, and responding to employee inquiries.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure data accuracy throughout the implementation process.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the HR team.

**EDUCATION**
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- A strong interest in Human Resources and HR technology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Prior experience with HRIS systems (e.g., BambooHR) is a plus.
