**Position Summary**:
The Shipper will play a key role by providing hands-on support to the department under the direction of the Supervisor to ensure workflow and timely delivery targets. The Shipper will partner with team members and cross-functional departments to ensure packaging of material, storage of finished products, and accuracy of shipment details according to associated paperwork, labels, and customer delivery requests.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Pick and pack windows and doors for shipment.
- Conduct final inspection of product prior to packaging for shipment.
- Assemble skids utilizing wraps for shipment and inspect packaging ensuring quality of packaging with zero quality issues.
- Read and coordinate labels with corresponding skids.
- Ensure designated storage areas are organized in a manner that maximizes efficiency, safety, and customer order turnaround.
- Pack away all finished products from Assembly and Fabrication areas in designated storage spaces.
- Analyze current and established procedures and make suggestions to supervisor on process improvements.
- Coordinate with external production departments when needed.
- Utilize proper loading procedures and adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all job functions.
- Conduct general audits of department, ensuring cleanliness, safety conformance, storage of material, and general housekeeping.
- Update Supervisor on shipment status, escalated issues, and progress of assigned targets.
- Other tasks as required.

**Skills**:

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and understand labels, paperwork, and documents.
- Time management and project prioritization skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to perform repetitive and physically demanding duties when required.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.

**Education & Experience**:

- 2+ years of experience of shipping and receiving experience.
- 2+ years of experience within a manufacturing environment, windows and doors experience is considered an asset.
