The Development Officer - Annual Giving will be a key member of the Lethbridge College Development team.

Job Duties

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manages and grows donor pipelines through annual giving campaigns
- Develops, executes, and supports fundraising strategies addressing institutional priorities
- Conceptualizes, organizes and executes events and activities
- Manages and completes reporting requirements and donor updates
- Assists in the development of promotional materials, web page content, and other supporting tools
- Works across the entire institution collaboratively
- Jumps in and helps the team execute its objectives when and where needed

Required Qualifications

**Qualifications and Skills**

Ideally, you will be a proven development officer or currently hold a similar relationship-based role. Your work history will demonstrate your experience in nurturing relationships and utilizing your strong emotional intelligence to create excellent connections. You will have a track record of spotting opportunities and have what it takes to strategically align the needs of our donors to those of the Lethbridge College community. You need to be organized and work well under pressure, as deadlines will be an everyday part of your work.

You will already possess a degree/diploma in a related field such as business administration, marketing, or communications and be proficient in MS Office. A driver’s license and the ability to work flexibly are essential - some evenings and weekends will be required.

Most importantly, you will need strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to build, maintain, and strengthen relationships.
