Social Media and Communications Manager

**Career Opportunity**:
We are looking for a **Marketing and Social Media Manager** to run educational focused Instagram, Facebook and Twitter account on behalf of Ashwood Glen and her sister company. The objective is to help build our community through influencer outreach, community marketing, social media marketing efforts, and overall communications efforts to help us grow.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for posting regularly across Instagram, Twitter & Facebook
- Creating engaging text, images and video content that creates conversation and attracts more followers.
- Creation and management of content calendars & promotion schedules
- Management of organic and paid posts/ads on social channels, especially Google and Facebook
- Overseeing holistic social strategy of organic & paid posts/ads to ensure a complete brand presence and consistency in brand personality across social channels
- Organizing/participating in brainstorming sessions with management to develop detailed plan of social amplification strategy and creative ideas
- Managing social measurement tools
- Analyzing regular performance data to figure out tactics in optimizing post performance, reporting on metrics and trends weekly
- Check all social conversations daily to learn what customers are thinking and respond to any questions or requests in a responsible manner in line with Ashwood Glen’s culture. Moderate and remove offensive/inflammatory social comments that could damage the reputation of Ashwood Glen.
- Oversee, produce, and distribute new written and visual communications and compelling marketing materials (e.g. school’s year book, monthly newsletters, photography, videos, promotional messaging, presentations)
- Oversee website development and performance to drive engagement, revenue, and conversions
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned

**Who you are - Your Knowledge, Skills, and Experience**:

- University or College degree in Marketing, Advertising or a related field of study
- Proven ability to create smart and engaging content and exceptional writing skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of organic and paid Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms
- Thorough understanding of social media KPIs & analytics, and updating content plan & strategy based on those results
- Light graphic design - editing Canva templates
- Experience with tech tools such as MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop and similar
- Excellent communication skills
- Must work well with a remote team
- Model a strong work ethic, high standard of commitment, and maintain excellent professionalism in all interactions with colleagues, students and parents
- Participate in community building events, both in and out of school hours

**Salary**: $63,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Marketing: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
